- Constance Spry - This painting tells the story of Constance Spry (the original David Austin English Rose) from the small green buds through to the large open cabbage blooms. Her petals have been made transparent by the glistening of the summer sun overhead. She has a charm and voluptuous beauty which I was compelled to immortalize. This painting featured on the cover of the New Zealand Gardener magazine and the Australian Artist magazine.
