- Old Rambling Rose - Adelaide d' Orleans is one of my favorite roses - her petals resemble crushed silk and her perfectly formed pale pink buds give a softness and grace to this composition. My 'signature' on floral paintings seems to be the inclusion of my little friends - the ladybugs. The two we have here are soaking up the warmth of the summers day and are probably intoxicated by the wonderful fragrance of this gentle rose.
