- Psiche Abbandonata - My interpretation of a very moving marble sculpture in the Pitti Palace, Florence. This sculpture had such an amazing 'presence', painting it was exciting. I chose to emphasize the flickers of light which gently illuminate her as she gradually emerged from a luminous background. This painting featured in a newly released book, "Splash 6" (North Light Books.)
